Microsoft announced that its newest office applications, Office 2013 or Office 15 also referred to have reached the stage of Release To Manufacture (RTM).
This means that Office 2013 has been ready to be thrown to the manufacturer to be directly integrated into their devices.
Released to the public itself will be performed at the beginning of the year around the first quarter of 2013. Looks like Microsoft later this year to focus more on its hybrid operating system, Windows 8.
In addition to desktop PCs running Windows and Mac OS, Office 2013 will also be present on multiple platforms such as mobile phones and tablets that use the Android operating system, iOS, Windows Phone, and Symbian.
In the meantime, a preview version of Office 2013 will be present on the first Windows-based tablet that will be present concurrent RT with Windows 8 on the 26th of October.
Microsoft also provides special offers for users who purchase Office 2010 package starting from October 19, 2012. They will be given the facility to upgrade to Office 2013 for free. This can be done directly shortly after the official release to the public
